I'm one of those who not only touch life, but fully emerse myself in it. I don't fashion myself as a good writer, but others do. Right now, I think I'm stroking it softly.
I was born in raised in New Jersey, under the seige of my Christian parents, so much of what I believe is of Christian influence. I was--and am--a loner, so I developed a system where everyone hates me and I hate them back. I've gotten better, so I guess I'll be your friend. But at least you know where I get my "Me against the world." talk.
I get my cynicalism from my school, an art school I go to for film and writing, and the kids there. All realists and radicals and cynics. I think it gives my writing style flavor. Don't you?
...and as all the leaves fall...so are my legends told...
